When my heart was drawn to nature as an inspirational source of never-ending beauty and emotion, a recurring theme in what my eye was drawn to most was trees. My photographic journey started out with photographing almost exclusively people, and I relished that world. Expression, emotion, connection, it’s all there with a human, and now I believe, with trees as well. History, age, what they have “seen”, what they have weathered…it’s all a beautiful tale to tell.
